The CareVets Charitable Foundation Trust was set up by the Directors of CareVets when they saw a need for community welfare support for animals in New Zealand. Problems had been seen with existing welfare organizations where not all of the donated money was channeled directly to animal welfare. 100% of donations are used for animal welfare by way of desexing programs for cats and dogs in conjunction with local councils, animal control officers and veterinary clinics.
