a. To promote the development, furtherance and conduct of ophthalmic research in Wellington and elsewhere in New Zealand and beyond; b. To achieve the primary purpose as set out above, through charitable activities: to receive donations, gifts, bequests and to otherwise raise money by all lawful means including enlisting financial or other aid from individuals, corporate donors and from other trusts and local, regional and national government agencies and conducting fundraising and marketing campaigns; c. To apply the funds of the Trust as the Board direct, towards the primary purpose as set out above and for any other purposes within New Zealand (whether relating to the relief of property, the advancement of education or other matter beneficial to the community) which are charitable according to the law of New Zealand.
