Capital Performing Arts (CPA) is an Incorporated Society. Its aims are to encourage and foster the performing arts and the spirit of good fellowship and to develop talent including music, literature, drama and dance.

For over one hundred years the CPA and its predecessor, the Orphans Club, provided outside performers and members the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of live audiences. Audiences enjoyed a wide variety of performing artists in pleasant surroundings and convivial company. Currently the CPA is in recess.
