i. stimulate, support, coordinate, and fund research within New Zealand focused on cancer care, prevention and treatment; ii. provide information, guidance, and support to people, families and carers impacted by cancer; iii. educate health professionals, decision-makers, and the wider community about cancer, and promote awareness of advancements being made; iv. deliver and support health promotion initiatives focused on preventing cancer; v. advocate for improved cancer control across the health system and society; vi. promote equitable cancer outcomes by reducing barriers to prevention, early detection, treatment, and support for high-risk and underserved population group; vii. foster collaboration with, and between, Divisions and other like-minded organisations, and coordinate and lead national initiatives and programs aligned with the Society’s Purposes; viii. raise and apply funds for charitable purposes within New Zealand, in line with these Purposes;
