To build a community cntr for the use & enjoyment of the Filipino community. To promote & raise awareness of the Filipino Culture in NZ. To preserve the Filipino Culture & Heritage by providing a place where Philippine history, culture & artifacts can be permanently housed & displayed. To provide a place to promote & help unify Filipinos in NZ, & integrate the Filipino Culture with the NZ Culture. To provide a place where the diff forms of religious beliefs within the Filipino Community & the wider community can be practiced & encouraged. To raise funds for other charitable purposes; includes the relief of poverty, advancement of education, religion or any other purposes that are beneficial to the community. To create a multi-purpose hall that will promote social contacts through sports, recreational activities & cultural or performing arts b/w the Filipinos & its wider Wgtn community. To raise awareness & respect among the Filipinos re the special status of Maori as Tangata Whenua.
