Blockhouse Bay Baptist Church

As a church we exist to become a Christlike community of hope for the benefit of Blockhouse Bay and beyond, through worship, connecting, transformation and service. We seek to equip people to be like Jesus or be Christlike by following the actions, attitude and teaching of Jesus in all aspects of life. This involves personal and communal change or re-calibrating our life around Jesus' practices of prayer, study of scripture, regular participation in church life, growing in character, serving others in justice and mercy, and sharing the good news of Jesus with others. Following Jesus and becoming like him creates flourishing communities that enacts the hope of grace for life now and into the ultimate future.
