Champions Initiative is now the operating name of the Billy Graham Youth Foundation. Champions Initiative provides advice, support & resources to allow N.Z. youth (tamariki and rangatahi) to enrol in programmes for educational, social & physical development provided by any boxing academy in Aotearoa New Zealand that has signed terms of engagement to use our model. We deliver training - child protection, trauma informed practice, youth development, coaching practice, systems training, governance, policy training, finance and fundraising across the country. The BGYF trustees provide governance and advice for the delivery of this activity. This takes place in various locations: at CI Partner academy premises throughout Aotearoa for on-site training and support, local community premises, youth network premises, schools, local marae, local Council premises nationwide. Our most important stakeholders are our tamariki and rangitahi - from 9-18+ years, and their whānau.
