(a) Protecting the mental health and the psychological and emotional wellbeing of NZ children and adolescents in relation totheir engagement online and participation in social media; (b) Promoting online safety for NZ children and adolescents, including through advocacy for comprehensive online safety regulations and legislative frameworks for social media use; and (c) Raising public awareness regarding the importance of online safety and the risks of unrestricted digital exposure.
