1 Celebrate & Showcase: Establish and promote an annual African Film Festival in New Zealand that showcases films from, about, or themed around Africa. 2 Educate & Connect: Use the medium of film to educate New Zealand audiences about African culture and foster meaningful cross cultural relationships. 3 Global Collaboration: Facilitate strategic interactions and knowledge sharing with other international African film festivals. 4 Industry Integration: Connect the trust with New Zealand film practitioners, while bridging the gap between the New Zealand and African film industries to spark collaboration. 5 Promote Advocacy: Undertake any further activities deemed desirable by the Trustees to champion and promote African cinema both within New Zealand and globally.
