The purposes of 24-7 Prayer New Zealand are to:

1) Advance the Christian faith in New Zealand by focusing on prayer

2) Champion the prayer life of New Zealand Christians

3) Champion the corporate prayer life of the New Zealand Church

4) Equip the New Zealand Church through prayer resources, teaching and ideas

5) Equip the New Zealand Church for individual and community mission through prayer

6) Equip the New Zealand Church to seek justice through prayer
