The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: To advance community development and education through the development and delivery of programmes of social education for young people mainly through affiliated youth groups and clubs in the Highlands so that young people can be participative members of their communities. To advance education through providing support and training for adults who work with young people in affiliated youth groups and groups in the highlands. The provision and organisation of recreational facilities for young people through affiliated youth clubs and groups in the Highlands.
