Women of Minority Ethnic Network Scotland

4.1. The promotion of equality and diversity for the public benefit of minority ethnic women in Scotland through the creation of safe, inclusive and culturally competent spaces, the amplification of their voices and lived experiences and the promotion of awareness and understanding of the intersectional barriers they face. 4.2. The advancement of education for the public benefit of minority ethnic women in Scotland through mentoring, training, learning, leadership development and capacity-building opportunities. 4.3. The advancement of citizenship and community development for the public benefit of minority ethnic women in Scotland through networking, forums, community engagement, and support for participation in civic, social, cultural and community life, including leadership and decision-making. and 4.4. The relief of those in need by reason of disadvantage, being minority ethnic women in Scotland, through guidance, advocacy, peer support, signposting, referral and access to support.
