2a. The Group is established for charitable objects and purposes only. 2b. In particular, the group is established to promote the welfare of the inhabitants of the Westland Estate and its immediate environs without distinction as to age, sex, race, political, religious, sectarian, or other opinions, by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations, institutions, businesses and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities for recreation and leisure time activities.
