(a) To safeguard and better conditions of residents in this district, to form the residents into a single body. To promote the development of the community with regards to social and recreational needs – with the aim of fostering a community spirit. (b) To promote research into subjects directly connected with the objects of W.A.R.A. and to publish any results in the press. (c) To act as a co-ordinating body with the Local Authority and all other statutory bodies, voluntary organisations, charities and persons having similar aims to W.A.R.A. (d) To promote and assist activities of a charitable nature.
