To relieve the needs of adults with learning disabilities, particularly those in the area covered by West Glasgow Community Health and Care Partnership by any of the following means: a) To bring together adults with learning disabilities, to talk about and work on issues that are important to us. b) To influence service providers to bettr meet our needs. c) To raise awareness, educate and inform the public about our needs. d) To work towards the removal of labelling in the community and encouraging acceptance of people with learning disabilities as valued individuals. e) To represent the views of adults with learning disabilities at local and regional forums f) To create opportunities for socailising, leisure and informal education
