The objects of the Trust shall be to provide for the furtherance of the education of pupils, bpast and present of the said Fettes College and The Edinburgh Academy (such pupils, past and present being hereinafter referred to as 'qualifying beneficiaries') including without prejudice to the foregoing generality the making avaijlable of financial assistance in the form of grants and/or loans to qualifying beneficiaries for education study and research at schools, colleges, universities and other places of learning and where appropriate study with or under the supervision of experts in their particular field both in the United Kingdom and Abroad.
