Volunteering Hebrides

1) To promote volunteering in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and in particular for the benefit of the inhabitants of the said area by:- (a) Advancing and fostering learning and skills, health, culture and lifelong opportunities. (b) Promoting, establishing, developing and carrying on volunteering activities and support services in the said area which will include working with the Holding Company and any other associated company of the Holding Company. (c) Helping to plan and place individuals in volunteering opportunities and placements, which will include the provision of training and employment opportunities whether directly or in partnership with other bodies, whether incorporated or unincorporated. (d) To do all things to further the above aims and for the relief of those in need by way of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
