2.1 The Objects of the Charity are, for the public benefit, to relieve and assist, in such ways as the Trustees think fit (but without regard to religious or political affiliations) residents or nationals of the United Kingdom who are in need because of youth, age, illhealth, disability or financial hardship or who are otherwise in conditions of need, hardship or distress. 2.2 Throughout the Articles, charitable means charitable in accordance with the law of England and Wales provided that it will not include any purpose which is not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the 2005 Act. For the avoidance of doubt, the system of law governing the Articles is the law of England and Wales.
