1. to advance recreation, primarily, but not exclusively, for the benefit of the communities of Kinross-shire and surrounding area by managing or supporting projects that improve or create safe and accessible public access to the countryside through the development of a network of multi-use tracks, and associated infrastructure. 2. to advance heritage and culture by promoting an understanding and appreciation of the natural, built, and cultural heritage of Kinross-shire, and surrounding area. 3. to advance environmental protection or improvement by promoting sustainable access to the countryside and supporting projects that minimise environmental impact and encourage responsible enjoyment of natural areas. and 4. to advance community development by. i. Facilitating and encouraging greater public participation and enjoyment in walking, cycling, and other outdoor pursuits. and ii. Providing advice, information, and support to local communities, landowners, and public bodies on matters relating to access, environmental improvement, and local development planning in Kinross-shire and surrounding area.
