The Association is established to: 2.1 relieve poverty, sickness and the aged and to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the TRAAD Ballinderry and Ballyronan District area of Co Derry and its environs (the area of benefit) without distinction of age, sex, race, or political religious or other opinions by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
