The Trauma Therapy TrustRegistered

a) To facilitate access to high quality trauma therapy, provided by experienced and qualified therapists, for people whose health and wellbeing is adversely affected by the consequences of abuse, neglect, or trauma and who cannot afford to pay the full cost of therapy themselves. b) To improve the health and wellbeing of individuals who suffer from the consequences of abuse, neglect, or trauma. c) To work collaboratively or in partnership with therapists and groups of therapists who have appropriate training and experience in the provision of trauma therapy. d) To work collaboratively or in partnership with organisations whose client group is most likely to include those who have been affected by trauma, abuse and neglect and who are least likely to be able to pay for therapy privately. e) To build and maintain a network of individuals, groups and organisations involved in providing trauma therapy in Scotland or working with people who might benefit from trauma therapy, in order to increase capacity to meet the needs of this client group. f) To organise high quality affordable training in working with the effects of psychological trauma for mental health professionals in Scotland.
