(1) The preservation of human life by: (a) promoting the effective teaching of swimming, lifesaving and survival techniques. (b) promoting swimming as a life skill. (c) promoting water safety. (d) promoting safe water environments. and (e) promoting public health and safety by the provision of training courses and by such other means as the Trustees think fit. (2) The advancement of health through the promotion of swimming and/or water exercise as an enjoyable and healthy recreational activity for people of all ages.'
