4. The objects of the SCIO are to advance such charitable purposes within West Dunbartonshire and Dumbarton (the 'Operating Area') as the Trustees see fit from time to time through the provision of grants and financial assistance, and in particular the Trustees will prioritise applications which contribute to one or more of the following-- (a) The prevention or relief of poverty (b) The advancement of education (c) The advancement of health (d) The advancement of citizenship or community development (e) The advancement of arts, culture, heritage and science (f) The advancement of public participation in sport (g) The promotion of equality and diversity (h) The advancement of environmental protection or improvement.
