To promote and advance education, culture, heritage, community development and environmental protection in the village of St Abbs through the provision of a Visitor Centre dedicated to celebrating , promoting and increasing awareness of and education about the heritage of St Abbs and in particular its history and tradition of fishing and maritime matters, its distinct environmental features including its distinct flora and fauna and its nationally important sea-bird breeding colonies and marine reserve. and to promote such similar charitable purposes, objects or institutions and in such proportions and manner as the Trustees shall think fit.
