From the Rules adopted on 8th February 1921:To afford assistance to any employee or former employee of the dependants of such employee who may be in necessitous circumstances through old age, sickness, accident, misfortune, death, unemployment or other circumstances which, in the opinion of the Committee, make it desirable that assistance should be given.
