The Trustees shall hold and apply the Trust Fund on discretionary trusts for payment of the whole or part of the capital of the trust estate as the Trustees may from time to time consider desirable for such charitable purposes or to such charitable institutions, societies, foundations, or funds as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion decide and without prejudice to the discretion of the Trustees it is my wish that the Trust Fund be used in supporting Charities with the primary purpose of the advancement of religion in Glasgow and Scotland, but allowing for that scope to extend to the United Kingdom and to appropriate charitable purposes and institutions outside of the United Kingdom, and without prejudice to that generality for the following selected Charitable Purposes: (a) the advancement of religion. (b) the advancement of education. and/or (c) the advancement of community development.
