The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 The relief of those people, and their families in need, by reason of cancer (and related illnesses) and supporting end of life care. 4.2 To support organisations active in providing assistance in the provision of services to people living with cancer and their families. 4.3 To focus attention of the community at large on issues relating to cancer and the advancement of solutions, with a view to raising awareness and sense of individual and community responsibility and participation in finding cures for cancer related illnesses. 4.4 To encourage the co-operation and partnership of cancer organisations, voluntary groups, statutory authorities, private enterprise and individuals in raising resources to support organisations and individuals in relation to tackling cancer and the provision of facilities to support those affected by cancer, in particular at end-of-life care. 5 PGF will primarily support people within Scotland, however, it may from time-to-time under the guidance of the Board of Trustees undertake UK wide and international activities. 6 The organisation shall promote (but not promote exclusively) its activities and delivery operations to any person impacted by cancer or organisation operating in the field of cancer support and/or research.
