The Outsiders is an educational group primarily for homeeducated children and young people together with their families. It seeks to advance education by developing self confidence and self reliance primarily through the experience of outdoor skills, activities, ancient technologies and handicrafts. It seeks to advance community development by promoting activity in society and voluntary commitments enabling the children to build strong communities within an environmentally sustainable world. It seeks to provide recreational activities with the object of improving the social and physical condition of homeeducated children at low cost enabling financially strained families fair access to activities.
