( 2)for payment of the whole or such part of the free income and the whole or such part of the capital of the Trust Estate as the Trustees may from time to time consider desirable for charitable purposes to such individuals, charitable institutions, societies, foundations or funds within the Diocese of Brechin in the Scottish Episcopal Church as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion select and without prejudice to the discretion of the Trustees (a) for the purpose of providing finance for restoring or altering or maintaining or repairing or renewing or equipping or promoting the use of any church or associated buildings within the said Diocese (b) for providing financial assistance to clergy within the said Diocese provided always that there is no other fund from which assistance could be sought or is immediately available
