The objects of the Society shall be to perpetuate the memory of John Buchan by bringing his achievements to the notice of the general public, and by seeking to promote a greater understanding of his life and works. In pursuance of its objects, it shall be competent for the Society to raise and to hold funds. to seek fmancial aid from such sources as may be available. and to take any other action deemed appropriate for the furtherance of its aims and objects.
