4. The Organisation has been formed to benefit people living in Largs and generally North Ayrshire (the “Community”), with the following purposes (the “Purposes”): 4.1 The Organisation’s purposes are the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the Community, by renovating and maintaining Douglas Park and providing opportunities within the park to bring the following to the Community 4.2 Improved physical and mental wellbeing through activities such as gardening, exercise and other social activities 4.3 A stronger community through the bringing together of people and the building of intergenerational relationships through the use of the park by many local organisations 4.4 Providing educational opportunities through workshops, for example, gardening classes, guided walks, wildlife and nature talks, writing, poetry and art
