The objects of the Club are to provide aid, assistance and support for the elderly residing within the area of benefit, where such provision is in the interests of social welfare, and is made with the object of improving the conditions of life of such persons within the area by:- a) Bringing together representatives of statutory or voluntary organisations and individuals. b) making representations on behalf of old people. c) making available information to, for and on behalf of elderly people. d) encouraging training for those working with elderly people. e) promoting and running appropriate services both in the Housebound Club and the community.
