4 The organisation's purpose is to educate the public, academics, and policymakers through an academic journal, Journal of Technoeconomics. The journal will also sponsor conferences and white papers meant to improve the general welfare through easing of the energy trilemma. Essentially, our societies are simultaneously beginning to hit environmental, energy, and economic constraints. These constraints have a disproportionate impact on lower-income members of society. The charitable focus of these research programmes is aimed at educating ways in which easing these constraints will (i) prevent and relieve poverty ? by educating on routes to ease the trilemma and thereby easing pressures on lower-income households. (ii) advance environmental protection ? by educating on forms of clean technology that can be utilised in an economically-efficient manner.
