The objects of the association are: 1. To raise funds for the provision of and maintenance of equipment and facilities of the Simpsons Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Simpsons Memorial Maternity Pavilion, Edinburgh. 2. To support the families associated with babies who are or have been in the Simpsons Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. 3. To provide and assist in the provision of funds and facilities for research into any subject relative to the welfare of families and babies associated with the said Unit. 4. To provide information on the said Unit to interested parties and to put pressure on local and central government and other relative people or bodies to provide better facilities and findings for the said Unit.
