4 The charity aims to support individuals who are vulnerable, isolated, or at risk of social exclusion within West Lothian and the wider community. Shine Group exists to create inclusive spaces that promote connection, confidence, and wellbeing through positive, social, and recreational activities. By reducing loneliness and building community belonging, the charity strives to improve quality of life and strengthen social support networks for those most in need. The organisation’s purposes are: (a) the advancement of health, (b) the advancement of citizenship or community development, (c) the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, (d) the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage
