The organisation's purposes are: i. To promote the equal treatment, equal protection, non-discrimination and safeguarding of the mental health and social care of health BAME health professionals and the wider community to alleviate suffering, loneliness, and suffering. ii. To work towards safeguarding the mental health and wellbeing of BAME health and social care professionals other members of the wider community in Scotland. iii. To raise awareness through education, training, and information on the plight of BAME and other health and social care professionals in Scotland to enhance their human rights. iv. To promote a community-based approach to mental health, counselling, and social care to ensure that the basic needs of BAME and other marginalised communities who are adversely affected by mental health challenges and stress are addressed to alleviate poverty, hardship, loneliness, and suffering.
