Shetland Befriending SchemeRegistered

4 The organisation's purposes are: (a) To relieve loneliness, isolation and build confidence for children and young people (7-15) and adults (16+) including those with dementia in Shetland. (b) To provide a befriending service by matching service users with trained volunteer Befrienders, offering a 1:1 service. (c) To provide group activities for those with a match and those waiting for a match. (d) To provide events and activities for the wider public in need, to promote friendship building and support the mental health and wellbeing of those attending.
