The Organisation has been formed with the following Purposes: 5.1 To provide recreational facilities and activities primarily for, but not limited to, the benefit of residents who participate in amateur sports and uniformed groups in the Community and for whom the facilities and organisational activities are mainly intended. 5.2 To advance citizenship and community development in the Community through the promotion and provision of activities that include, but are not limited to, those that allow people to enjoy better physical and mental wellbeing, and live better, safer or more fulfilled lives by encouraging social inclusion, particularly but not exclusively amongst young people. to be exercised following the principles of sustainable development (where sustainable development means development which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs).
