3. The purposes of the SCIO are:- (i) the advancement of education and the provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities by providing necessary facilities for the daily care, recreation and education of children attending or local to Sciennes School out of school hours, in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving those children?s conditions of life. and (ii) to promote similar charitable purposes, objects or institutions in such proportions and manner as the Trustees think fit.
