The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of citizenship or community development through the promotion of civic responsibility, volunteering or the voluntary sector. 4.2 The advancement of arts, heritage. culture or science by establishing and developing a new sustainable organisation on the Isle of Bute to maintain, promote and advance the provision, appreciation and public understanding of the arts and local heritage, including the redevelopment of Rothesay Pavilion. 4.3 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by developing and delivering high quality, publically accessible work based at and beyond Rothesay Pavilion across a range of art forms, including but not limited to theatre, music, dance and visual arts activities, for the benefit of the Isle of Bute and its inhabitants, and others wishing to enjoy the culture and heritage of the island.
