The church is established for exclusively charitable purposes as defined in Section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 (hereinafter referred to as 'the 2005 Act') and its objects are the advancement of: 4.1 Christianity and Christ-centred discipleship, 4.2 initiatives which support the relief of those in need, 4.3 education and personal development, 4.4 citizenship and community development, 4.5 religious and racial harmony, 4.6 environmental stewardship, protection, and improvement, 4.7 provision of recreational activities.
