To pay or apply the income of the Trust Estate for such charitable purposes (in the sense in which that expression is used in the Income and Corporation Taxes Act, 1970 or any re-enactment thereof) as they in their uncontrolled discretion shall from time to time think fit including without prejudice to the said generality and without restricting the Trustees in any way in the exercise of their discretionary powers the relief of poverty, the relief of the aged and infirm, assistance for handicapped persons, the advancement of education, the provision of recreational facilities which come within the scope of the Recreational Charities Act, 1958 and the preservation of buildings and other items of national interest.
