To promote the benefit of and advance the education of carers in Renfrewshire District and its environs ('the Operating Area') by:- (i) Promoting the views and needs of carers with relevant bodies (ii) Providing information for carers (iii) Promoting the development of local carers groups (iv) Monitoring and reviewing relevant policies and services in relation to carers (v) Promoting the principle and practice of equal opportunities for all carers (vi) To operate as the forum for carers and carer groups in the District
