To advance education in the study of Roman ceramics, primarily through (a) grants to enable scholars of any country to attend and present papers at congresses of the REI CRETARIAE ROMANAE FAUTORES (a learned society devoted to the study of Roman pottery) where they would otherwise be prevented by financial difficulty and (b) grants towards the cost of publication of scholarly works.
