The organisation’s purposes are: (1) The advancement of community-led environmental protection or improvement of Scotland’s temperate rainforest by: (a) Promoting and supporting improved long-term management of the rainforest (b) Empowering local communities to promote, protect and regenerate the rainforest (c) Facilitating improved communication and collaboration between rainforest communities, and between rainforest communities and other bodies (d) Creating an accessible pool of resources and expertise about the knowledge and management of the rainforest (e) Promoting sustainable livelihoods and income generation related to the rainforest (f) Uncovering and integrating natural and cultural heritage of the rainforest (g) And any other activity that supports our charitable purposes.
