The purposes of the Trust shall be to relieve the needs of disabled persons in Inverclyde District and to encourage, in the interests of social welfare, their participation in recreational or other leisure-time activities with the Object of improving their conditions of life. In furtherance thereof, but not further or otherwise, the Trustees shall seek: (i) To use the Trust’s funds and any income accruing thereon to give financial assistance to disabled persons to encourage their participation in leisure and recreational activities and to organisations whose objects and use of any such financial assistance will be directed towards the aforesaid charitable purposes. and (ii) To promote and encourage increase in the Trust funds.
