4.1 To advance community development for residents on the island of Papa Westray and its environs without distinction of sex, sexuality, political, religious, or other opinions, by associating with the local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and residents in a common effort to promote educational, cultural, social and other leisure and recreational activities among residents of Papa Westray, and to foster a community spirit for the achievement of these so that their conditions of life may be improved. 4.2 To promote the advancement of education and learning, including training in skills relevant to securing employment for the benefit of residents of the island of Papa Westray. 4.3 To promote other such charitable purposes for the general benefit of residents on the island of Papa Westray.
