4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of Education by promoting training and best practice in Positive Behaviour Support approaches within the care and education of children and adults with learning disabilities and/or ASN 4.2 The advancement of human rights and promotion of equality by increasing awareness, support, campaigning and advocacy in positive behaviour support to those families and professionals involved in the care and education of children and adults with learning disabilities and/or ASN. 4.3 The relief of those in need by reason of disability or ill-health by promoting sustainable good practice in the care and treatment of people with learning disabilities, additional support needs and caregivers, sharing and developing resources to enhance positive behaviour support, and collaborating with other bodies to promote and enhance their quality of life. 4.4 To advocate for the equality, diversity and human rights of people with learning disabilities, additional support needs and their families/caregivers.
