OAL works with young people aged between 8 -18 to improve literacy, communication and spoken work skills, and also to improve self-confidence and promote a re-engagement with learning that will improve future chances in life. OAL does this primarily through the provision of creative writing workshops that provide a positive intervention both within schools and outside of the school system.
