3.1 The Charity’s Objects are specifically restricted to the promotion of health and the advancement of education for the public benefit of pancreatic cancer in Northern Ireland and in particular: 3.1.1. to explain symptoms and stress the importance of early diagnosis to members of the public; 3.1.2. to promote awareness amongst professionals including those working in the medical and clinical environments; 3.1.3. to provide support services for patients with pancreatic cancer and their families; and 3.1.4. to support those carrying out research into pancreatic cancer or working towards treatments and elimination of the disease. Nothing in the articles shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with s.2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
